Woman attempts to flush her stillborn baby in public toilet

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- In a bizarre incident in Mumbai, a woman tried to flush her own stillborn baby in a public toilet and finally left the dead corpse of the baby there itself.

The incident came into light when police interrogated the accused woman. She was then found guilty of the crime as she confessed that she tried to dispose of her stillborn baby in public toilet on Monday.

She confessed that when she heard other people coming inside the public toilet, she threw the baby there itself inside the toilet and immediately ran away. Not only this, Supriya told police that she gave birth to a girl child.

The accused mother is 19-year-old named Supriya Surya Kant Kanekar. Amboli police have filed a complaint against the accused. The dead body of the baby is sent to the hospital for further post-mortem.

Later, police enquired and questioned Supriya’s family to find any other links to the story and if their family members were also involved in this crime.

Later, during the interrogation, it was revealed that that the accused’s mental and physical health condition was not fit as she gave birth to a child which was not assisted properly.

Currently, she is undergoing treatment in a hospital after which according to Amboli police station Officer, Bharat Gaikwad, legal action will be taken against her.

Many such cases have taken place in India due to the birth of a girl child or because of other issues. Now the police is probing into the case further to get into the depth of the case.
