NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- The former Union Minister Yashwant Sinha, economist Arun Shourie and others had filed a petition in the SC demanded that the scam should be investigated under the supervision of the court.

The Supreme Court has dismissed all the Petitions seeking investigation into Rafale Deal by explaining that there were no irregularities found into the Rafael Fighter Jet deals between India and France.

In this way, The SC has given a big relief to the Modi government, which was being alleged by oppositions continuously over this deal. Various reactions are coming from politicians, since SC ordered that no probe is required into the pricing aspects Rafael deal and choosing offset partner. So, let’s see who said what…

Home Minister Rajnath Singh:

Home Minister Rajnath Singh said, “We have already said that there was not any kind of malpractices took place in this deal and now Supreme Court also cleared it. Congress has made baseless allegations against the government for its selfishness. The Congress has misled the people and tried to take political advantage over the Rafael Deal.

MP Subhash Bhamre:

Rajya Raksha Mantri (Minister of State for Defense) Subhash Bhamre also said that ‘Truth has finally won’.

Amit Shah said in his tweets, “Truth always triumphs! Court’s judgment on the Rafale deal exposes the campaign of misinformation spearheaded by Congress President for political gains. The court didn’t find anything wrong with the process nor did it find any commercial favouritism in the deal.”

The Union Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore tweeted’ “#RafaleVerdict#SupremeCourt, in a UNANIMOUS judgment, SC dismisses ANY probe into the #RafaleDeal and vindicates the Govt’s stand.

Congress party said in its tweet, “The Supreme Court has clearly stated that it is outside their jurisdiction to probe into the #RafaleDeal. We continue our demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee to investigate the #RafaleScam.”

The Supreme Court Lawyer, Congress (INC) Jaiveer Shergill‏ said, “In “2G” case executive decisions were open to judicial review leading to court-monitored investigation, trial & acquittal but in #RafaleDeal executive decisions are NOT open to judicial review in law school I remember reading a chapter on “Consistency in judicial verdicts”
