We have complete faith in residents of Kasba Peth, says state BJP Chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Kasba Peth Bypoll Election | Bigwigs of BJP and MVA are camping in Pune since a fortnight because of bypoll of Kasba Peth and Chinchwad constituencies. The political atmosphere in both constituencies has heated up as it is the last day of campaigning. (Pune Kasba Peth Bypoll Election)

The BJP has made Kasba Peth bypoll a prestige issue and has utilised all available resources. Meanwhile, state BJP Chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule has criticised NCP Chief Sharad Pawar while speaking during the campaign for Hemant Rasane. “We have complete faith in the residents of Kasba Peth. At present, we are in a situation where a BJP-Shiv Sena candidate will emerge as the winner by 100 per cent. However, the double engine government of PM Narendra Modi and CM Eknath Shinde will speed up the development process which has stopped.

“During a meeting conducted by Sharad Pawar, a leader said that Muslims should be brought from outside and they would vote for Congress. This is an anti-Hindutvavadi stance. We had never spoken about the Muslim community in our discussions. This was not expected from Sharad Pawar and he should have stopped the discussion. We never said that a particular group or a community is against Hindutvavadis. Hence, not a single Brahmin voter is unhappy,” he added.
