Video Goes Viral ! Senior Advocate Of Rajasthan High Court Caught On Camera Smoking Hookah During Virtual Hearing

Jaipur: A video of Senior advocate of the Rajasthan High Court smoking during the virual hearing has been doing a rounds on social media. The incident reportedly took place on Thursday after the Rajasthan High Court resumed its hearing on the plea challenging the merger of six BSP MLAs with the Congress.

In the viral video, the senior advocate Rajeev Dhavan can be seen holding a set of papers in front of his face in a bid to smoke a hookah.

However, the paper couldn’t hide the rings of smoke. Kapil Sibal was also among the lawyers during the virtual hearing of the Rajasthan High Court. However, it is not clear that the incident of the lawyer smoking during the virtual hearing noticed by the Rajasthan high court or not.

The hearing resumed on Friday, senior counsel Rajeev Dhavan’s video got disappeared. To this, the Rajasthan HC asked if the video was turned off by him. Due to the outbreak of coronavirus, the court has started hearing pleas via online mode. The SC observed that the minimum court etiquette should be followed during the hearings.
