UP Becomes First State To Conduct Record 1 Crore Covid19 Tests

Lucknow : Uttar Pradesh has created a new record by conducting the coronavirus test of one crore people. UP which has the highest corona test conducted in the country, has also increased the testing facilities rapidly. In March, it had a capacity of only 72 tests per day, while now more than one and a half lakh people are being tested every day. In the last three months, only 54.4 lakh people were screened, that is, more than half of the tests were done. Of this, 44 lakh tests were conducted in the month of September alone.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has congratulated on setting a record in the case of Covid-19 testing. On this achievement, CM Yogi said that this has been possible only due to good teamwork. Tamil Nadu is the second state after Uttar Pradesh with 72 lakh corona tests. From the beginning in UP the focus was on increasing the corona tests. Corona’s pool test was started here for the first time in the country. Corona’s RTPCR test, Antigen test, TrueNat and CB NET test are being done. There are now 200 government and private laboratories for testing corona in the state.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while instructing to complete the door-to-door survey, surveillance and investigation work at a meeting of Team 11 held at his government residence on Wednesday, said that the state government is fighting the battle against Covid-19 with full speed. He said that the Integrated Command and Control Center has an important role in controlling the spread of corona and providing better treatment to patients, so it should be carried out in all districts with full activeness.

He asked the patients living in home isolation to communicate with the district level through Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s helpline. He also instructed for continuous monitoring of surveillance. CM Yogi said that this is very important, so do not be negligent at any level in it. Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh and Chief Secretary RK Tiwari and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
