Two Cops Suspended In Pune | DCP Amol Zende suspends two policemen

PUNE : Two Cops Suspended In Pune | DCP Amol Zende of Crime Branch has suspended a policeman from the Crime Branch for raping a 24-year-old woman, who was staying separately from her husband, by promising to marry her and take care of her son and another policeman for helping him.

The suspended policemen have been identified as policeman Qadir Qalandar Shaikh (Buckle number 10743) and policeman Sameer Majidullah Patel (Buckle number 8409). An FIR of rape has been registered against Qadir Shaikh and the same FIR includes the name of Sameer Patel for abusing the victim and pushing her aside.

Initially, the FIR was registered against the cops at the Lashkar police station. Later, it was transferred to Mundhwa police station. Meanwhile, the Mundhwa police have arrested policeman Qadir Shaikh and the court has remanded him in police custody till July 7. Meanwhile, the questioning of the policemen started and immediately, DCP Amol Zende suspended them. ACP Ashwini Rakh is probing the case.
