Pune Crime News | Pune: Gram sevak pushed aside while taking action against encroachment on zilla parishad property
PUNE : Pune Crime News | A woman gram sevak who had gone to take action against an encroachment on the zilla parishad’s property, was pushed aside at Naigaon in Loni Kalbhor area. The Loni Kalbhor police have registered an FIR against a man.
The accused has been identified as Bhausaheb Chandrakant Choudhary (50), a resident of Haveli taluka, Pune district. Vijaya Dattatray Bhagat (42) has lodged a complaint at the Loni Kalbhor police station. There is a primary health centre located in Naigaon gram panchayat area. The zilla parishad has sanctioned ₹10 lakh to construct a boundary wall.
Since Choudhary has encroached on zilla parishad property, gram sevak Vijaya Bhagat and her team had gone there. Choudhary abused and pushed aside Bhagat and her team members. An FIR has been registered against Choudhary for obstructing government work. PSI Ghodke is probing the case.
