Training aircraft crashed in Indapur, pilot injured

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE: PUNE:   A Cessna aircraft used for training by the Carver Aviation, Baramati, crashed around noon near Rui village in Indapur taluka of Pune district, Maharashtra. The pilot Sidharth Titus has sustained minor injuries.

After the incident, a huge crowd had gathered at the spot. The pilot was shifted to a nearby hospital.

The aircraft (VT-RDX) hit the field near Shri Babir School in Rui village, about 125 km from Pune. Titus was flying the aircraft from Akkalkot to Baramati, when there was a technical issue in the engine. The aircraft was flying at a height of about 3500 feet.
