Three molesters arrested for beating and trying to kill a woman as she resists them on Ganeshkhind road

In this case, a 30-year-old woman has lodged a complaint at the Chatuhshrungi Police Station. The police have arrested Shripad Arun Sonawane (31), Avinash Suresh Jadhav (37) and Ayub Iqbal Shaikh (27), all from Khairewadi. A case of molestation and attempt to murder has been registered against them, along with two accomplices.
According to the police, the complainant, along with her husband and a friend were standing and chatting at the Ganesh temple in Khairewadi Pune at around 2:45 am. Two people came on a motorcycle. They slapped the complainant on the back and touched her chest and behaved in an embarrassing manner. When the complainant was going away, the motorcyclists tried to kill her by hitting her in the head with some weapon. Then Shripad Sonwane came there and threatened the complainant’s husband and friend. He left with the motorcycle of those who beat up the complainant. The Chatuhshrungi police have registered a case against five people.
