These New Features of WhatsApp Will Make the Life of Group Users Easy, Check Now

Mumbai : WhatsApp is constantly upgrading its platform. We already know that the company is working on bringing multi-device support to its platform. Now Facebook messaging App ‘Messenger’ is also working on another feature in which group chats will be a bit easier. According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on a feature called Mute Always. Through this, WhatsApp will give us the option to mute forever groups whose messages are not more important to us or whose messages we do not want to see again and again. So far, WhatsApp offers only three options to mute notifications. The first for 8 hours, the second for a week and the third for a year. But the company is now working to change these options so that the user can keep the notifications of their groups off indefinitely.

According to a screenshot shared by blog site WABetaInfo, the company is now working on replacing the ‘closed for one year’ option with the option of mute always, allowing users to keep chat mute for as long as they want. It has been said that this feature is still under development, but if you are a beta user, you can try it by downloading the WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.20.197.3.

Choose Who Can Add You in Groups
Apart from muting notifications, there is also a feature that can save you from the trouble of forcibly adding you to WhatsAppGroups. WhatsApp is going to develop such a feature that you will be able to select who can add you to groups and who does not. If you want to use this feature, you must do this – tap Settings> Accounts> Privacy> Groups and select one of the three options: “Everyone,” My Contacts, “or” My Contacts except.
