Tesla registers company in Bengaluru, Enters Indian markets

Mumbai : Elon Musk’s electric car making company Tesla has entered India. Tesla will manufacture and trade luxury electric cars here. Tesla has officially registered in Bengaluru. The company’s office is located in front of the Bangalore Club at Richmond Circle Junction.
According to reports, the company has registered with a capital of 1.5 crore. The Chief Minister of Karnataka BS Yeddyurappa has welcomed Tesla.
According to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Tesla India Motors and Energy Private Limited was registered in Bengaluru on 8 January. Its directors are Vaibhav Taneja, Venkatarangam Sriram and David John Feinstein. Taneja is CFO at Tesla, while Fenstein is Global Trade Director, Trade Market Access at Tesla. It is said that Tesla will start its operations this year. The registration number of this company, which starts business from Bengaluru in India, is 142975.
According to reports, Tesla can only launch the ‘Model 3’ of its car in the Indian market. A 60Kwh Lithium ion battery pack has been given inside it. The top speed of the vehicle is 162mph. This car can accelerate from 0-60km in 3.1 seconds. Its price can be around 55 lakh rupees.
