Terrorist plot foiled in Delhi, two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists arrested

New Delhi : Delhi police have foiled a major terror plot and arrested two suspected Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists. The action has been taken by a special squad of Delhi Police. Weapons have been seized from the militants and a special team of Delhi Police has informed that the two suspected terrorists are being interrogated.

ANI has reported about this. According to police, the trap was set near Millennium Park around 10pm on Monday night. The two suspected terrorists, both residents of Jammu and Kashmir, have been arrested and two automatic pistols and 10 live cartridges have been recovered from them.

Both the arrested Jaish-e-Mohammed suspected terrorists have been identified. They are Abdul Latif Mir and Mohammad Ashraf Khatna. Abdul, 22, is a resident of Baramulla, while Ashraf, 20, lives in Kupwara. In August, Delhi police arrested an IS militant and foiled the plot. Police had seized 13 kg of ID at this time.
