The Police have zero down notorious gangster from the resident of this year Miss India Urvashi Sakhare on Friday late evening.

The arrested person has been identified as Sumeet Thakur from the houose of Ursvarshi. According to police he was trying to trace Sumeet from last one and a half month in case of firing on Pinnu Pandey.

On Friday evening, the police had received an tip-off and raided the house of Urvashi in Jafar Nagar, Nagpur and zero down him. Urvarshi and Sumeet are in relationship and on June 26, this year Sumeet had fired on Pandey in Awasthi Nagar Chowk near Police Headquarters, Nagpur with the help of his aide.

Pandey was seriously injured in this incident. During this incident, civilians and minorities were also injured. Police along with Sumeet also arrested Gurge Ujjair and Piyush Wankhede. The police were unable to trace Sumeet and his associates. Sumeet and Urvashi were friends from quiet sometime.

The police came to know that Sumeet was going to meet Urvashi. Police had been keeping eye on her for last few days. According to sources, Sumeet had come to Urvashi’s residence late on Thursday evening. On first floor there is Urvashi’s bedroom he was found and her parents were staying below who was clueless about it. The police had received information that Sumeet was in Urvashi’s bedroom.

After which they arrested Sumeet and brought him to crime branch. In initial investigation, he denied about firing on Pandey. According to the sources, Sumeet has been friends with Urvashi for a year and a half. After Urvashi won Miss India in April, she gained popularity in one day.

For some period , leaders also got protection from him. Sumeet and his family have been granted bail in MCOCA. In this case, he has violated the terms of the bail. So the police are trying to cancel their bail.
