Southern superstar Prabhas’ production company in Rs 1,000-crore debt

Mumbai: Southern superstar and Bahubali actor Prabhas’ production company UV Creations and V Celluloid is in Rs 1000-crore debt, according to reports.

The coronavirus pandemic has left a considerable influence on the movie trade in 2020. The movie theatres were forced to remain shut in wake of pandemic. Due to this, the film industry faced humongous losses. With theatres being shut, and the releases opening on OTT platforms, threatres and productions companies faced difficulty in revenue generation.

According to the news that is coming out, the nearest sources have said that Prabhas has a debt of more than Rs 1,000 crore on both UV Creations and V Celluloid.

Meanwhile, there’s good news for all Prabhas fans. Their decade long wait is finally over as the superstar is ready to warm the cockles of the hearts once again. He makes a comeback in the upcoming magnum opus, ‘Radhe Shyam’. Prabhas’ last outing as a romantic hero was in the Telugu hit titled, ‘Mr Perfect’, back in 2011.

No doubt the pan India superstar became a household name across the country post his mega blockbuster series, ‘Baahubali’. But before that, he was everyone’s darling for his stupendous performance as a lover in the 2010 hit romantic drama, ‘Darling’. Whether it was Prabha, his character in ‘Darling’ or Vicky from ‘Mr. Perfect’, his portrayals showcasing his romantic side have always been applauded by the audience.
