‘Shamima Begum’ – Left Britain at the age of 15 to Marry an ISIS Terrorist, Life Became Hell in Love

New Delhi : Life for a girl married to the terrorists of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), leaving her parents at home in Britain five years ago, is no less than hell. After the end of ISIS, these girls are spending days with children in Syrian refugee camps and now want to return to their homeland, but all the paths of their return are closed. Shamima Begum is one such ISIS bride who fled from Britain to Syria in 2014 at the age of 15 but now wants to return. However, it does not seem possible now.

Shamima studied in a school in East London. Her life was very beautiful. There was no shortage of money and no problems with facilities, but suddenly Shamima reached Syria with her three friends. At a young age, the devilish ideology of ISIS had such a profound effect on the mind that her peaceful life became worse than hell. Shamima became Shamima Begum after arriving at the satanic camp of ISIS.

Now 20-year-old Shamima’s life is standing at a strange crossroads today. Shamima Begum is struggling to regain British citizenship with her child, but on Friday she lost her legal battle. The Immigration Appeal Commission of Britain has rejected the application of Shamima. Shamima argued that she is not a citizen of any other country, so her British citizenship should be restored. But the Immigration Appeal Commission turned down Shamima’s petition, saying that the national interest could not be compromised.

Eloped with friends to Syria
In 2015, Shamima fled from London to Syria with three of her friends to join ISIS. For four years, no clue of her was found. In February 2019, Shamima was found in a Syrian refugee camp and she expressed her desire to return home, with a newborn baby.

Shamima Begum, known as the the ISIS bride, recounted the incident saying, “I think people should be sympathetic to me, because my everything has been ruined. I don’t know what is going to happen to my life? I’m doing this just for my child. I want to return. I cannot stay in this camp any more. It is not possible for me.”

When the news became public about Shamima Begum, ISIS bride asking British citizenship, debate was sparked in the country in February 2019, but Britain’s immediate home secretary Sajid Javid revoked the citizenship of Shamima raising the question of the security system of the country. Shamima challenged the decision of the Home Secretary in the Special Immigration Appeal Commission, but there also, Shamima’s hopeful expectation was over.

Became Pregnant Thrice
Shamima became mother thrice while staying in ISIS camp for four years. The lives of the first two children could not be saved, but with this child of hers, she decided to leave ISIS last year, because she realized that her own life was destroyed in the stronghold of devils. The future of the child will also be bleak.

Shamima said, “My biggest priority is my child. I have decided to leave ISIS because of my child. I do not want anyone to take away my child from me. I want to give my child a good life. ”

Why is Shamima not being given citizenship?
Actually, despite facing all hell, Shamima has no regrets over her decision to leave Britain and go to Syria. She feels that whatever happened, but her life has got new meaning and new experiences.

Shamima Begum went on to say, “ISIS changed me as a human being. It made me very strong. I like my husband. I love my child. I had a great time here.”

This statement of Shamima given in February last year proved to be wrong for her. She has no qualms about joining ISIS even after suffering all the pain and suffering. After reaching Syria, Shamima married Yago Riedik, the Dutch terrorist of the Islamic State, after which she was called the ISIS bride.

There is no shortage of girls like Shamima in ISIS. Many such girls were forced to live their lives in their camp, who chose this path for themselves or who were forcibly abducted. In the Kurdish camp of northern Syria, such girls are struggling to get out of this hell.
