Sex racket busted at massage centre in Swargate

Officials from the social security cell of the Pune city police Crime Branch on Thursday evening raided a spa/massage center in Swargate and busted a sex racket. Police have rescued three women from there and arrested a father-son duo for running the racket.

The action was taken at Srushti Spa located in Gurudutt Gruhrachna society near Jedhe chowk. Cops have arrested Dattatray Jadhav (58) and his son Rahul Jadhav (29) for allegedly running the prostitution racket under the garb of the massage parlor.

After getting a tip-off, police had sent a decoy customer who verified the sex racket following which the raid was done around 5 pm on Thursday. Now an FIR has been registered against Dattatray and his son Rahul with Khadak police station for offenses under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and relevant sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Pradip Deshpande, DCP (crime) Shirish Sardeshpande and ACP (crime II) Bhanupratap Barge supervised the investigation team led by Police Inspector Manisha Zende.
