Seven stolen bikes recovered from 2 minor boys

In order to fulfill their joy ride dream, two boys aged 15 years and 16 years used to steal bikes from various parts of the city. Acting on the tip-off, police arrested them and now recovered seven motorcycles from their possession.

Police naik Pramod Mohite had received information that the boys are riding the stolen bike near Cummins company. When caught the boys could not produce papers or give the satisfactory answer about the bike in their possession. During further investigation police recovered the bikes which were stolen from jurisdictions of Nigdi, Alankar, Kothrud, Warje, and Chatushrungi police stations.


The action was taken under the supervision of senior police officials Add CP Ravindra Sengaonkar, DCP (zone 3) Mangesh Shinde, ACP Bajirao Mohite, and Alankar PS senior inspector Kalpana Jadhav.

Investigation team included Police inspector (crime) Bhaskar Jadhav, PSI Ambrish Deshmukh, Sanjay Pandhare, and policemen Ganesh Dalvi, Mundhe, Sachin Budhawale, Nitin Padwal, Kiran Nevase, Gaus Mulani, and Bhaurao Date.
