Saiyami Kher to star in Anurag Kashyap’s next

NPnews24 Online: Actress Saiyami Kher made a dream debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya and she is moving her way up by taking on good projects only. The talented actress will soon be seen in filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s directorial.

Last week, the filmmaker announced about his new company and a new film without giving away many details.

Saiyami had earlier teaser her fans by tweeting an equally cryptic post, hinting at a new project. However, confirming the news, she says, “xxxxxxxINSERT SAIYAMI QUOTExxxxxxxx.”

Saiyami will be playing the lead role in the film and pair alongside Malayalam actor Roshan Mathew, who is known for his role in movies such as Aanandam, Koode and Thottappan.

The talented actress impressed everyone with her performance in the 2016 release Mirzya alongside Harshvardhan Kapoor. Her last release was the hit Marathi film Mauli opposite Ritesh Deshmuk. She has also just wrapped shoot on her digital debut in the Amazon prime series Breathe opposite Abishek Bachaan.

Quote – Yes I am currently shooting for the film.. It has still not sunk in that I am in an Anurag Kashapy film. Its an understatement to say that I am extremely excited to be a part of this project. Can’t really talk too much about the film right now.
