Saavn and Jio merge to make JioSaavn with free 90 days Music Subscription

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – Saavn a popular mobile songs app which is also a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited has finally became one into Jio Music app to become JioSaavn. It is now Aisa’s one of the largest streaming, entertainment and artist platform. JioSaavn represents the official combination of JioMusic, India’s most popular music app, and Saavn.

The new integrated JioSaavn app is available across all App Stores including the Jio app store, on JioPhone, as well as, at www.jio.com/jiosaavn.

Things to know about JioSaavn

Jio is India’s largest digital services network with over 252 million subscribers. JioSaavn combines the streaming media expertise of Saavn with Jio’s digital services ecosystem.

Jio subscribers would enjoy seamless access to the integrated app. The service will be offered on a freemium model in India with all users having access to the ad-supported product.

The JioMusic and Saavn merger: Reliance Jio announced in March that it will be acquiring the music streaming app Saavn in order to integrate it with Jio Music and create South Asia’s largest platform for music, media, and artists called JioSaavn.

Reliance Jio subscribers get 90 days free access to JioSaavn Pro: In order to avail the free 90 days access to the premium Saavn Pro service Reliance Jio users will just need to register their number on the app after downloading it from Apple app store or Google Play Store.
