Earlier, Rhea’s brother Shouvik was questioned by the CBI for about 12 hours. Today Rhea Chakraborty is appearing before the CBI for questioning. 28-year-old actress Rhea Chakraborty has been made the main accused by Sushant Singh Rajput’s family in their FIR lodged in Patna. The FIR lodged by Sushant’s father KK Singh has accused Rhea of abetting Sushant for suicide, mental torturing and taking his money. In fact, after the Supreme Court’s approval on 19 August last week, the CBI started an investigation in this case. The CBI has so far questioned Rhea Chakraborty’s father, brother Shouvik and others.

Earlier, Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Shouvik Chakraborty reached the DRDO guest house on Thursday to participate in the interrogation by the CBI in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. A police officer said that this is the first time that the CBI is probing the case and is questioning family members of Rhea Chakraborty.

Shouvik arrived in the DRDO guest house in Kalina, Santacruz in a car at around 10.15 am. Significantly, this is where the CBI officials are staying. Before Shouvik, CBI on Thursday summoned Siddharth Pithani for questioning for the seventh consecutive day. Pithani lived in his house with Sushant. A police official said that Pithani arrived in the DRDO guest house in a cab at around 9 am. On Wednesday, Pithani was also questioned by the investigating agency for more than 12 hours.

The manager of the waterstone resort where Sushant was staying for some time, also came to the DRDO guest house on Wednesday. A Bandra police team also came here on Wednesday and stayed for about an hour.

On June 14, 34-year-old Sushant’s body was found hanged in his room at Bandra’s Mount Blanc Apartments. Pithani, cook Neeraj Singh and domestic help Deepesh Sawant were present at the house at the time of the incident. The CBI team had gone to the Cooper Hospital where an autopsy of Sushat’s body was done.
