Record Single-Day Spike of 49,931 COVID-19 Cases Pushes India’s Caseload to 14,35,453; Death Toll Rises to 32,771

New Delhi : Coronavirus infection has broken all previous records in the country. During the last 24 hours, there have been as many cases of coronavirus in the country as never before. According to the Union Health Ministry, from 8 am on Sunday till 8 am on Monday, a total of 49,931 new cases of coronavirus have come across the country, which is the highest ever in 24 hours. With these new cases, the total coronavirus cases in the country have now increased to 14,35,453.

Due to corona infection, people are losing their lives and the number of deaths has increased. According to the Ministry of Health, during the 24 hours, 708 people have died due to coronavirus across the country and till now this virus has caused a total death of 32,771 people in the country.

With the record of new cases of corona coming to the country, it is a matter of relief that now the number of people recovering is also increasing rapidly. During the last 24 hours, 31991 people have completely recovered from Coronavirus across the country. This is the largest number of people who have been cured in a single day and so far, a total of 9,17,567 people have been completely cured of the coronavirus across the country. Coronavirus recovery rate in the country has been 63.45 percent. The total active cases of Corona are now 4,85,114 in the country.
