Addressing a large gathering swamiji said, “The essence of all religions is one. Only their approaches are different.  No religion teaches us terrorism. Every religion spoke about Sympathy, brotherhood and harmony. God have many hands, many heads but he has only one heart and which beat for all human beings. Similarly our country has many religions, many languages but all we have only one heart. For world peace we should spread the love in the society. Love is same as water. It should not be stored in small place. It gets contaminated, let it flow. Rivers, ponds, lakes and streams – they all have different names, but they all contain water. Just as religions do – they all contain truth.”

Hazarat Sayyad Mustafa Rifai spoke about monotheism and said, I believe in one power, and that is the hand of God. I respect all religions. In today’s era the terrorism increases day by day and we have to control it and destroy it from the society. We should create the society where there is no fear, where one girl feels safe  on the road at  midnight. What we all have in common is an appreciation of kindness and compassion; all the religions have this. We all lean towards love.”

Bishop Thomas Dabre said, “I believe in the fundamental truth of all great religions of the world. Jesus loves and care all the human beings irrespective of their religion. All churches and all religions contain aspects of the truth, but God only is truth. Each of us must struggle to find our own way through the inner obstacles that keeps us from living in acceptance and tolerance.”

Prof. Dr. Vishwanth D. Karad recalled the saint Dnyaneshwara and said, “We all, I think, believe in compassion. If you look at all the world religions, all the main world religions, you’ll find within them some teaching concerning compassion. The core of all religions is a belief in a supreme personal God.”

Mata Bediji said, “From the time of Guru Nanak’s first teaching, to the present time of racial and religious struggle, it is clear that all of humanity needs more acceptance and tolerance—in our interactions not with each other externally; but also internally, with our own pursuit of personal self-acceptance and self-tolerance. All religions are designed to teach us how to live joyfully, serenely, and kindly, in the midst of suffering.”

Meher Master- Moos said,We are people of many different religions and many different faiths. The only way forward in a pluralistic society of diverse religions & faiths such as ours is to have laws that protect and respect the freedom of all, equally.

Lesan Azadi said, All religions have the same foundation – a belief in the supernatural – a power above nature that man could influence by worship – by sacrifice and prayer.”

Aziz Nizami said Religions themselves are peace- loving. They also be constructive force in peace building.”
