Purushottam Trophy 2018: Ahmednagar’s Pemraj Sarada college become champion again

The famous Purushottam Trophy competition which gives the platform to young actors and prompts their creativity, declared its result on Sunday night. The one-act play “P.C.O.” of Ahmednagar’s Pemraj Sarada college has won Purushottam Trophy at this year. They have won this trophy second time consistently.

Sir Parshurambhau College bagged the second Hari Vinayak Trophy for their “ Batmi Kramank 1 Karod Ek” one-act play. Whereas third number award Sanjeev Trophy was given to the Marathwada Mitr Mandal’s College of Commerce for their “Afsana” one-act play. Fergusson College’s ” Vipasha ” play won the ‘Jayaram Hardikar Trophy’ for best experimental one-act play at this year.

There was very tough competition between participants. Nine teams participated in this competition. The last round of Purushottam Trophy was held at Bharat Natya Mandir on Sunday. The judges for the final round were Actor Sharad Ponkshe, Keshav Sathe, and Madhav Abhyankar.
