Pune : Youth drowns in Chakan

NPnews24 Online Pune : A 17-year-old youth drowned in a stone quarry in village Moi, near Chakan on Friday morning. The deceased has been identified as Gautam Sudhir Nishthur, resident of Jadhavwadi, Chikhali.

According to NDRF, the incident took place around 10.45 am. He had gone for swimming along with his friends. Local administration tried to recover his dead body yesterday but were unsuccessful. NDRF deep diving team was requisitioned and during search operations his dead body was recovered by NDRF deep divers today.
