To accommodate the large number of beneficiaries arriving in buses and other vehicles of the State Transport Corporation, the Collector Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh has issued an order to alter the traffic arrangements in order to prevent congestion during the program.

In an effort to avoid traffic jams on the 23rd of July from 5 AM to 5 PM, certain traffic routes will be modified. National Highway no. 965 from Pune to Pandharpur will be closed for heavy, bulky, and other traffic, which will be diverted to an alternative route on the Pune to Baramati stretch.

Within Jejuri Police Station limits, heavy vehicles and other vehicles heading to Jejuri Saswad from Satara, Phaltan, Lonand, and Baramati to Pune will be completely restricted. These vehicles will be directed to Pune-Solapur Highway via Nira-Morgaon-Supa to Kedgaon Chauphula. Traffic from Pune to Baramati will also be halted and rerouted through Baramati-Phaltan-Satara via Belsar-Kothale-Nazre Supe-Morgaon road.

Within Vadgaon Nimbalkar Police Station limits, heavy, bulky, and other traffic from Baramati and Neera heading towards Pune via Jejuri will be fully closed and redirected through Morgaon-Supa-Kedgaon Chaufula on Pune-Solapur Highway No. 65 to Pune.

Saswad Police Station traffic will witness the closure of heavy, bulky, and other traffic from Pune heading to Phaltan-Satara via Jejuri. Alternative routes for this traffic include Saswad-Narayanpur-Kapurhol via Satara-Phaltan or Saswad-Veer Phata-Parinche-Veer-Vathar through Lonand.

It is important to note that these traffic restrictions will be relaxed for vehicles arriving for the ‘Shasan Apya Dari’ program on July 23. Authorities have appealed to citizens to be aware of the traffic changes and cooperate to ensure a smooth flow of vehicles during this significant event.
