Pune: Sinhagad Road Police Booked Four Accused for Creating Terror and Allegedly Molesting Woman in Dhayari

Pune: On the occasion of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, four people created chaos by brandishing weapons and also attempted to molest a woman who was cleaning the road with the help of JCB. This incident took place on Wednesday, April 3, at around 6.30 p.m. in Dhayari.

According to the complaint filed by a 55-year-old woman, on April 3, she was cleaning the area in the wake of upcoming Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s jayanti, which is on April 14. Suddenly, four people arrived there in the evening, and they attempted to stop the work by abusing workers.

Shockingly, when the plaintiff woman confronted them about their behaviour, the accused brazenly assaulted her with their hands and also attempted to molest her by stripping her saree.

Seeing it, when the female relative came to the help of the complainant, she was also assaulted by the plaintiff. Furthermore, it is mentioned in the complaint that the accused created terror in the area by brandishing weapons in the air and pelting stones on the woman’s hotel around midnight.

After the incident, the plaintiff filed a complaint against Rajendra Shankar Kamble, Aditya Ankush Mane, Bhupendra Kharat, and a woman, all residing near Prabhat Press, Dhayari, at the Sinhagad Road police station. The police took strong note of the complaint and booked all the accused under IPC 354, 323, 504, 506(2), 427, and 34. Sinhagad Road police are conducting further investigation into the case.
