Pune: Shameful Incident Stuns Kharadi as Young Woman Faces Molestation and His Friends Were Assaulted During Her Rescue

Pune: A shocking incident of molestation of a young woman and a brutal assault on his two friends who came to rescue her took place in the Kharadi area of Pune. In this regard, the victim woman filed a complaint against two people on Monday, January 22.

On the night of January 22, the 29-year-old woman living in Kharadi was passing through lane number 2 at around 1 a.m. At that time, a few people, who were enjoying a bonfire at the corner of the road, molested her, slurring obscene remarks at her.

When she was walking through the lane, one of the accused came to her and asked her to talk to her. When the woman refused to talk to him, he mistreated her, causing her embarrassment. After that, the woman got scared and called her friends Rupesh and Siddhant to save her.

Immediately, his two friends arrived on the spot and confronted the accused about the issue. Furious over it, the accused assaulted both of them, causing them several injuries. It has been mentioned that the accused beat Rupesh on his neck and Siddhant on the hand and shoulder with a wooden stick used for the banner erection and injured them.

Following the incident, the victim woman filed a complaint against the accused at Chandannagar police station. Accordingly, a case has been registered against Sagar Patil and Saurabh Kondke and two other unidentified boys under IPC 354(d), 324, 504, and 34, and further investigation is being conducted by Police Sub-Inspector Shegar. Meanwhile, the plaintiff’s friends have received serious injuries and have been admitted to the hospital for primary treatment.
