Pune Police | Mundhwa : Lost Seven-Year-Old Girl Reunited with Mother Thanks to Quick Response by Pune Police

Pune : Pune Police | A heartwarming incident unfolded in the Mundhwa area of Pune as a seven-year-old girl named Radhika Tejraj Sonkar got separated from her parents. Concerned for her mother’s whereabouts, she ventured out into the streets and ended up near the A.B.C. Road CNG Pump. It was there that a compassionate senior citizen, Pandurang Gaikwad, noticed the lost child and promptly handed her over to the police.

 

The Mundhwa Police Station took immediate action, ensuring the safety and well-being of the girl. Female police officer Hemlata Gawde was assigned to care for her and, despite Radhika’s inability to provide her home address or contact details, the diligent efforts of the police led them to locate her parents within a few hours.

 

Tears of joy filled the eyes of Radhika’s parents and local residents when they were reunited with the little girl. The community expressed their gratitude to the Mundhwa police for their swift response and exceptional performance in bringing Radhika home safely. This commendable achievement was made possible under the guidance of Commissioner of Police Ritesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Police Sandeep Karnik, and the dedicated efforts of officers including Hemlata Gawde, Sandeep Garje, Vishnu Tamhane, and Pradeep Kakade.
