Pune : Pune Crime News | In another instance of mobile phones being found in Yerwada Central Jail, two mobiles, two batteries, a charger, and a SIM card were discovered in the possession of prisoners on Wednesday evening. Despite efforts by the administration to enhance security measures, these incidents continue to occur.
The administration has been implementing various steps to prevent the entry of prohibited items, including thorough searches of prison officers, staff, and inmates. However, the repeated discovery of mobile phones in the prison has left the police surprised. In response to the recent incident, a case has been registered against the under-trial prisoners involved.
