Pune Police Developed ‘M Police App’

PUNE: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE-  There was a time, when police officials used to keep a service dairy for making holiday applications, keep payment receipts and maintaining records of the awards etc.

Most of times, they didn’t have any options for getting information about the duty allocation, so they used to call their senior officers.

But now, Police have got relief from it. All their daily activities have been made online in Nigadi. For this, Pune Police has made a ‘M Police App’. A total of 6, 417 police have downloaded this app till yet.

And 256 had registered complaints through this app, which includes no increament in wages and wrong date of births. These problems will be solved now. This information is given by Pune’s Additional Police Commissioner Sahebrao Patil.

There are more than 8 thousand police officers in Pune Police Department. Generally, Police officials have to come to commissioner office for minor works. They have to come time to time for the works like Holiday application, Service book, payment receipts, to check the current status of transfer application etc. Pune is known as an IT city, so Pune Police is also becoming High-tech. Therefore efforts are being made to make the daily activities of the Police Officials.

This app is available on android and can be used after downloading. For starting the app, it requires a service number. This app has options like duty, vacation, service book, solution, police welfare, salary slip, message, chat, transfer file, uniform delivery, patrolling book, training etc. There will be a personal as well as official information in this app.

A Message gives the information about what work has been allotted in duty. If a policeman has applied for transfer, then the current status of it can be seen. It is mandatory for all the policemen to download this app.

 Career History in the App:

Additional Police Commissioner Sahebrao Patil said that this is first such app started in Pune Police Department. This app gives the history of the entire career of police officers and employees. It also includes information from the date of joining the department to the awards received, Punishment, hike  in wage etc. This app will definitely save the time of the police officers and staff.
