Pune: Police arrests five members of Andekar gang for obstructing government work

Pune: Police have arrested five members of the Andekar gang for allegedly trashing, arguing with the police after the police stopped their car. Police have registered a case of obstruction of government work against the five accused in this regard.

 

The accused have been identified as Shivam alias Shubham Udayakant Andekar (25), a resident of Nana Peth, Sairaj Sunil Kakade (23), a resident of Mangalwar Peth, Rahul Suresh Khetre (40), a resident of Nana Peth, Sameer Vinod Tambe (31), a resident of Nana Peth, Narpatgiri Chowk, Shardul Pramod Dhake (28), a resident of Bawadhan.

 

Shivam and Rahul were tadipar. They had come after serving their restraining order. Meanwhile, they committed another crime in Lamantanda area of Pashan. Chaturshrungi police were patrolling on Thursday night when they spotted a suspicious car moving. Therefore, Assistant Inspector Vishal Pawar’s team stopped them to interrogate. The accused started arguing with the police for stopping the car. Police then arrested the accused for obstructing government work.
