Pune PMC News | PMC Appeal to private doctors! Participate in ‘Mission Indradhanush’

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune PMC News | The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will launch the ‘Mission Indradhanush’ immunisation drive. The first round of the mission will start on August 7. The PMC has appealed to private medical practitioners, priests, social organisations to participate in the drive. Under the campaign, children from 0 to 5 years of age and pregnant women will be covered. (Pune PMC News)

A meeting of the City Task Force was conducted under the chairmanship of Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar on July 31. The Education Department, Women and Child Development Department, Social Welfare Department and MSRTC have been instructed to participate in the mission. Morning rallies, street plays will be held to spread awareness. Vikram Kumar has appealed to citizens to encourage children and pregnant women from your family and in neighbouring families to take benefit of the immunisation drive.

First Round: August 7 to 10

Second Round: September 11 to 16

Third Round: October 9 to 14

A portal has been launched under the Mission Indradhanush for the immunisation of children. It gives all the details about dates, time and venue. Citizens can register on this portal from the comfort of their homes.
