Pune News | Pune’s Bhoi Pratishthan to provide education & medical assistance to the children who lost their parents in the Irshalwadi tragedy

Pune: Pune News |  The Irshalwadi tragedy is still fresh in the mind of people from India. As of now the death toll has risen to 27 and a search operation is still underway on Sunday, July 23. The rescue operations are being carried out by NDRF teams and other NGOs. During this tough time of people from Irshalwadi the Bhoi Pratishthan is coming forward to provide educational and medical assistance to the children who lost their parents in the accident. Dr.Milind Bhoi, president of the foundation, has said that the medical team will be dispatched.

 

The medical aid team of Bhoi Pratishthan in Pune has been dispatched to help the affected people and the local police administration has also been contacted in this regard. The relief work will be done with the coordination of all the supportive staff.

 

Bhoi added, ” Apart from education and mental assistance we will also be implementing various projects in order to provide emotional and mental support to those who have been badly affected by the landslide. My team left on Saturday, July 22 under my leadership and they will present at the landslide site till the day the help is needed.”

 

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde appealed people from all parts of the country to help the Irshalwadi tragedy affected people

 

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reached the Irshalwadi spot on the day of the incident and inspected the situation. During his visit he inquired about the victims’ families and after that appealed to people from all parts of the country to help the affected people. Soon after the appeal the flow of relief materials like food packets, sheet-blankets, temporary shelters, containers, water bottles, torches, biscuits and first aid materials started for the manpower deployed for the relief work along with the local villagers.
