Pune News | Kondhwa police appeal to citizens to install CCTVs at their house and shops/offices

PUNE: Pune News | Sr PI of Kondhwa police station Santosh Sonawane has appealed to citizens to install CCTV cameras at their residence and in their offices and shops against the background of increasing crime graph in the city. A note in the register of the society should be made about delivery boys of Zomato, Swiggy, Amazon and Flipkart.

It is necessary for owners of flats to submit a copy of the leave and license agreement between the owner and the tenant to the police station. Real estate agents should give information about the tenant in the prescribed form and submit it to the police station.

Property agents and house owners should submit information about tenants to the police station or an FIR would be registered against them under section 188 of the IPC. The chairman and secretary of the society should carry out police verification of tenants and should not allow them to enter the society without doing the verification. If this rule is violated, then legal action will be taken, the police have warned.

The police hope that citizens staying in the limits of Kondhwa police station will fulfil their responsibility and cooperate with the police. Sr PI Santosh Sonawane said that banners and pamphlets about this have been pasted on the gates of societies located in the limits of the police station.
