Pune News | Encroachment in Punyeshwar temple area: Activists of Hindutva organisations stage agitation outside civic chief’s office

Pune : NpNews24 Online Pune News Various Hindutva organisations staged an agitation for one hour outside the cabin of Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar at the PMC’s head office demanding removal of encroachment of a masjid in the Punyeshwar Temple area in Kasba Peth. BJP City Unit Chief Dheeraj Ghate, Samast Hindu Aghadi’s Milind Ekbote, Chief of Patit Pavan Sanghatana Swapnil Naik and representatives of various organisations also took part in the agitation.(Pune News)

Dheeraj Ghate made a demand that the encroachment of a masjid should be removed from the Punyeshwar Temple area. “I have made correspondence with the civic administration many times but no action is being taken. Hence, we staged an agitation outside Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar’s cabin and demanded prompt action. The civic administration should act immediately or we will be forced to intensify our stir,” Ghate said.
