Pune: Kondhwa Police Thwart Daring Robbery Plot: Apprehend Three, Including Two Minors

Pune: The Kondhwa police foiled the plan of dacoits, including two minors, who were planning to rob passengers in the table point area of Bopdev Ghat. The police nabbed three accused in this operation, including two minors. This action was taken on Sunday, January 21, by the team of Kondhwa police station.

On January 21, the Kondhwa police got information that a few people were planning an attempt to rob passing passengers in Bopdev Ghat. Accordingly, police immediately dispatched a team to the location and apprehended three accused, setting a trap.

In this action, police held the main accused, Ananth Anil Khole, along with his two juvenile accomplices. In the following subsequent investigation, police seized red chilli powder, an iron rod, and a lethal weapon from them.

Police officer Laxman Tukaram Holkar, 39, has filed a complaint in this regard at Kondhwa police station. Accordingly, police booked the accused under IPC 399, the Arms Act, and the Maharashtra Police Act. Additional investigation is being conducted by Assistant Police Inspector Shinde.
