Pune: Indecent Attempt of Outraging Woman’s Modesty Turns Costly for Youth; Hadapsar Police Arrested Him

Pune: Hadapsar police arrested one young man on Saturday for allegedly molesting a 24-year-old girl from the same area. This action was taken by the Hadapsar police on the basis of a complaint filed by a victim girl on Saturday.

The accused has been identified as Kishor Amar Solanki. Solanki, a 21-year-old individual, resides in the same area as the victim girl. According to the police, on Saturday night, after having dinner, the plaintiff was sitting outside of her house. At that time, the accused, Solanki, came there, and he salaciously called the victim towards him.

The accused started touching her inappropriately and making unwelcome advances at her. When the victim girl resisted, the accused started behaving indecently with her with the intention of outraging her modesty.

Shockingly, the accused told the plaintiff that after much time, you are finally in my clutches, and he would never let her go easily, further describing his intention of molesting and outraging her.

After the incident, the victim girl rushed to the Hadapsar police station and filed a complaint against the accused. Accordingly, police booked the accused under IPC 354 and 354A and incarcerated him.

Police Sub-Inspector Gore is conducting further investigation into the case.
