Pune: Former President Pratibha Patil’s Health Normal, Will Be Discharged From Hospital Tomorrow; Close Aide Ends Speculations About Her Health Status

Pune: Former President Pratibha Patil was admitted to Bharti Hospital in Pune because of minor pain in her chest. However, a close associate of the former president, Ad. Pratap Pardeshi, cleared up all the confusion about her health status on Thursday and said that her health is fine now and she will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow morning.

A few days ago, Pratibhatai Patil was feeling uneasy, and her health status was deteriorating after she was infected in the chest. Therefore, she was admitted to Bharati Hospital in Pune for urgent medical treatment. For the past few days, she has been undergoing treatment at the hospital.

However, on Thursday morning, various rumours about her health status started airing on various news channels, and there were speculations regarding her deteriorating health condition. Responding to it, Pardeshi said that Pratibhatai’s condition is good and she will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow.

“Pratibhatai was admitted to Bharati Hospital on Wednesday for a medical check-up. However, since then, her health condition has been improving. She is responding well to the treatment and has been continuous under the supervision of doctors,” said Pardeshi. He further said that doctors have decided to discharge her on Friday morning.

Pratibhatai Patil is a veteran Congress leader, and she is the first woman President of India. She was elected as the first woman president of India in 2007. After retiring from the post of president in 2012, she settled in Pune.
