Pune : Drunk man throw co-passenger out of train, Dies on the spot; One arrested



Pune : In a horrific incident that took place at Kedgaon station on Monday, a man travelling in Goa Express had a heated debate with a drunken passenger and he threw him out of a running train. Nitin Deepak Jadhav (age 21, Shrirampur, District Ahmednagar) was arrested by RPF in this case.

The accused Nitin Jadhav and Mayat Gajanan Rathod (33, resident of Hingoli) were traveling in the general coaches of Goa Express (Train No. 02780). After some time, they had an argument with a co-passenger over drinking water. Both Nitin and Mayat were drinking alcohol. After the dispute escalated, accused Nitin Jadhav pushed Rathore out of train. Rathod fell on the down track in front and died on the spot.

At this time, the accused pulled the chain of the coach and stopped the train to escape. RPF personnel on duty at the time, Vitthal Bhosale, chased and caught the fleeing accused. He confessed all the facts.

The Kedgaon RPF arrested him and handed him over to the Railway Police.
