Pune Crime | Policeman arrested for raping woman by threatening to upload nude videos on social media

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime | A policeman from Pune sent a friend request to a 30-year-old woman engineer on Facebook and raped after befriending her. A shocking incident has come to light wherein the policeman threatened to upload her nude photos and videos on social media. The Bhosari MIDC police have arrested an employee of the Pune traffic police department. He has been identified as Vikram Ganpat Fadtare (34), a resident of Bhilarevasti, Pune.

A 30-year-old woman has filed a complaint at the Bhosari MIDC police station. The incident took place at Moshi and Akurdi and other places between September 15, 2021 to February 11, 2022.

According to the information, the complainant is married and is an engineer. She works in a private company. Vikram Fadtare is working in Pune traffic police department. Fadtare sent a friend request to her on Facebook. They later became friends and started meeting frequently. During this period, Fadtare took the woman to various places and forcefully established sexual relations with her. He took her nude photos and videos without her knowledge.

He sexually tortured her many times by threatening to upload the videos on social media. The woman was fed up and finally approached the police. Senior PI Pradeep Patil has arrested Vikram Fadtare.
