Pune : Pune Crime News | A gang attacked a youth with a sickle for intervening in a fight in Yerwada. The youth was badly injured in the incident.

Abhijit Appasaheb Dushing lodged a complaint at the Yerwada police station in this regard. Pratik Naiknavare, Chiku Naiknavare, Abhishek Bade, Shree Patole and Priyanshu Vairagar, all residents of Yerwada, have been booked.

According to the police, the complainant and the accused stay in the same area. Pratik Naiknavare had a fight with Sagar Hule. The complainant resolved it after intervening. The complainant had also slapped Pratik. Boiling with anger over this, Pratik slapped the complainant’s son. The complainant went to Pratik to question him over this act. Thus, he was attacked by Pratik and his accomplices. The complainant tried to escape the attack, when the gang chased him and shouted loudly and terrorised residents. They threatened people with the sickle if they tried to intervene. Hence, people shut their doors.
