JALGAON : NpNews24 Online  –  Maharashtra Suspended PSI Arrest In Dacoity | A shocking incident has come to light wherein a suspended PSI with the help of his father and a relative, robbed a SBI branch located near Kalinka Mata Temple. The Jalgaon police have arrested the PSI, his father and his relative. The police have seized ₹16 lakh cash and gold worth ₹3.60 crore. (Maharashtra Suspended PSI Arrest In Dacoity)

The accused have been identified as suspended PSI Shankar Ramesh Jasak, Ramesh Rajaram Jasak and Jasak’s relative and office peon Manoj Ramesh Suryavanshi. Shankar Jasak was missing from office since October 2021. On June 1, robbers wearing helmets, had entered the branch through the back door. They had sprayed something in the eyes of peon Manoj Suryavanshi and security guard Sanjay Bokhare and assaulted them and tied them up. They had threatened others with a knife and assaulted them and forced them to sit in a corner. They had looted ₹17 lakh and gold worth ₹3.6 crore from the bank.

SP M Rajkumar took a serious view of this incident and had instructed the police to search for the accused on a war footing. During questioning, the bank manager and peon were separately questioned and the police found a lot of difference in their answers. Later, the police grilled Manoj Suryavanshi and he admitted that the robbery had been planned by Shankar Jasak, his father Ramesh Jasak. Later, the police arrested the Jasaks.
