Pune Crime News | Youth arrested by Bharati Vidyapeeth police for stealing cars by pretending to be employee of malls

PUNE : Pune Crime News | The Bharati Vidyapeeth police have arrested a person for stealing four-wheelers of customers after promising them valet parking by pretending to be an employee of big malls. The police have seized two four-wheelers worth ₹15 lakh from him.

 

 

The accused has been identified as Rigveda Chandrakant Bhise (23), a resident of Sinhagad Road, Pune. Officials and policemen of the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station were patrolling in their limits. Policemen Dhanaji Dhotre, Sachin Gade and Harshal Shinde came to know that the car thief was standing on Katraj-Kondhwa Road. The information was verified. The police laid a trap and arrested him.

 

When questioned, Bhise admitted stealing cars of customers after promising them valet parking by pretending to be an employee of a big mall. The police have seized two cars worth ₹15 lakh from him.
