Pune Police Crime Branch News | Crime Branch arrests two persons for possessing pistols; Two pistols and eight live cartridges seized

PUNE : Pune Police Crime Branch News | The unit 2 of Crime Branch of Pune police has arrested two persons for illegally possessing pistols and have seized two pistols, eight live cartridges and a Santro car.

 

 

The accused have been identified as Hanumant Motiram Pawar (31), a resident of Khed taluka and Rishikesh Sudam Botre (29), a resident of Khed taluka. Officials and policemen of unit 2 of Crime Branch were patrolling in their limits. Policeman Gajanan Sonune got information about the accused and that they were carrying pistols. The information was verified.

 

The police laid a trap and arrested the accused. When he was searched, the police found two pistols and eight live cartridges. The police have seized pistols and a Santro car. The police have seized goods worth ₹1.76 lakh. An FIR is registered against the accused Hrishikesh Sudam Botre at the Chakan police station for possessing pistols.

 

 

CP Retesh Kumaarr, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Ramnath Pokale, DCP Amol Zende, ACP Sunil Tambe guided PI Nandkumar Bidwai, API Vaishali Bhosale, API Vishal Mohite, PSI Nitin Kamble, PSI Rajendra Patole, policemen Gajanan Sonune, Ujjwal Mokashi, Amol Sarde, Pushpendra Chavan, Sanjay Jadhav, Uttam Taru, Sadhna Tamhane, Namdev Renuse, Mohsin Shaikh, Nikhil Jadhav, Shankar Nevse, Vinod Chavan and Nagnath Rakh in taking the action.
