Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | A woman poured water on dishes of other customers in a restaurant after abusing the waiters in a drunken stupor because she was not served bhakri. After the police arrived at the restaurant, she abused them and twisted the thumb of a policewoman and bit it. The Market Yard police have arrested a woman in this case. (Pune Crime News)
A 45-year-old woman has been arrested. Woman police naik Vanita Mane has lodged a complaint (106/23) at the Market Yard police station. The incident took place at Shree Sagar Hotel and market Yard police station on Friday at 11 pm.
According to the police, the accused woman had gone to Hotel Shree Sagar to have lunch. Since she was not served bhakri, she abused the manager and waiters in a drunken stupor and created a scene. She poured water on the plates of other customers. The manager informed the police.
The police went to the hotel and they took the woman to the police station. She told the complainant, “So you are Mane. I will show you who I am,” and pulled the name plate and assaulted her after abusing her. She caught the complainant’s right thumb and bit it and injured her. The police have arrested her and API Kamble is probing the matter.
