Pune Crime News | SS Cell of Crime Branch expose high profile sex racket in star hotel in Kalyani Nagar; Two girls including a foreigner rescued

Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | The Social Security Cell (SSC) of the Pune police Crime Branch has exposed a high profile sex racket which was being operated from a star hotel in Kalyani Nagar, after receiving a tip. (Pune Crime News)

The police have arrested Karan alias Ramu Kishore Yadav (35), a resident of Wagholi.
Policewomen from the SSC have lodged a complaint (566/23) at the Yerawada police station. Policemen Sagar Kekan and Tushar Bhivarkar had received information that a sex racket was being operated from Royal Orchid Golden Suites Hotel in Kalyani Nagar.

They sent a decoy and got the information confirmed. After the customer gave a signal, the police raided the Royal Orchid Golden Suites Hotel and arrested a girl from Uzbekistan. Karan Yadav was also arrested. After he was questioned, he admitted that a girl from Uttar Pradesh had been forced into the flesh trade in Royal Archid Central Hotel and a girl was apprehended. The police seized cash of ₹25,000 and both girls have been sent to the women’s shelter home.

The action was taken under the guidance of Addl CP Ramnath Pokale and DCP Amol Zende by Sr PI Bharat Jadhav, API Aniket Pote, API Rajesh Malegave, API Ashwini Patil, Havaldar Ajay Rane, Rajendra Kumawat and Baba Karpe, policemen Sagar Kekan, Tushar Bhivarkar, Amey Rasal, Amit Jamdade, Sandip Kolge, Kishor Bhujbal, Omkar Kumbhar, Irafan Pathan and policewomen Reshma Kank. PI Gaikwad is carrying out further investigation.
