Pune Crime News | Pune Camp: Gang of criminals tries to kill two youths by assaulting them with sickles; Their friends were also assaulted
PUNE : Pune Crime News | Due to previous enmity, a gang of 10-15 members assaulted two brothers with sickles and tried to kill them. They also assaulted their two friends and spread terror in the area.
Aniruddh Anil Jagtap (25), a resident of Camp, has lodged a complaint (134/23) at the Lashkar police station. Accordingly, the police have registered an FIR against Alex Gawli and his 10/15 aides. The incident took place on Sunday at 12.30 am on the road going from Azam Camp Gate to Poona College Gate number 2.
According to the police, the complainant, his brother Pankaj Jagtap, was talking to their friends Sahil and Kaustubh. The accused came on five/six two-wheelers. Alex Gawli told his aides to kill both of them due to previous enmity and assaulted with sickles.
When the complainants were running away, their gold chain fell on the road. The complainant’s cousin Pankaj Jagtap was assaulted on his hand and head with a sickle. Their friend Sahil was assaulted on his back and the leg and Kaustubh was assaulted on his stomach. The accused displayed their weapons and warned locals not to mess with them. API Gaikwad is probing the case.
