Pune Crime News | Man robs senior citizen outside Sassoon Hospital by pretending to be policeman
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | A senior citizen who was going to the Sassoon Hospital to check his eyes was robbed of cash and a gold ring by a man who pretended to be a policeman. A 75-year-old man, a resident of Beed, has lodged a complaint (182/23) at the Bund Garden police station. The incident took place outside the gate of Sassoon Hospital on Friday at 2 pm. According to the police, since the complainant wanted to get his eyes checked, he was going to the Sassoon Hospital. When he reached the gate of the hospital, he was stopped by a man who told him that he was a policeman. He searched him and took ₹15,000 cash and 5 gm gold ring totally worth ₹33,500 and ran away. PSI Jadhav is probing the case.
