Pune Crime News | Action taken against Prem Shinde gang under MCOCA

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime News | Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr has taken action against the Prem Shinde gang which had created a reign of terror in Katraj and Ambegaon Budruk areas. The CP has so far taken action against 27 criminal gangs under MCOCA. (Pune Crime News)

 

Action against MCOCA has been taken against gang leader Prem Ankush Shinde (23), a resident of AMbegaon Budruk and hailing from Velha taluka, Pune district, Ganesh Babu Ovhal (24), a resident of Ambegaon, Bhimshya Suresh Mudavat/Chavan (19), a resident of near Amit Blufield society, Ambegaon Budruk, Karan Ravi Patekar (20), a resident of Bhumkar Bridge and one of their aides. The accused are at Yerawada Jail at present.

 

Gang leader Prem Shinde formed a gang and has committed many crimes. Sr PI of Bharati Vidyapeeth police station Vijay Kumar had submitted a MCOCA proposal to Addl CP Pravinkumar Patil through DCP Smartana Patil. The proposal was examined and action under MCOCA has been taken against Prem Shinde gang. After assuming charge as CP, Retesh Kumaarr has so far taken action against 27 gangs.

 

The action was taken by Sr PI Vijay Kumbhar, PI Vijay Puranik, API Vaibhav Gaikwad, ASI Chandrakant Mane, policemen Narendra Mahangare, Mahesh Baravkar and Vishal Varule under the guidance of CP Retesh Kumaarr, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Pravinkumar Patil, DCP Smartana Patil, ACP Narayan Shirgaonkar.
