Pune Crime News | Koyta gang attacked three persons in timber market

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime News | Three persons were attacked by Koyta Gang in timber market area of Bhawani Peth. A case has been registered against 10 people in Khadak police station. (Pune Crime News)

The accused has been identified as Karan Aglave (22), Rahul Shendge (22), Rohan Shendge (21), Abhishek Sasane (33), Mahesh Aglave (20), Swastik Khawle (22), Rohit Thorat (24), Laxman Jadhav (23), Shankar Kongadi (24) and Rohit Agalave.

The seriously injured person has been identified as Sultan Chand Sheikh (27) a resident of Lohianagar.

According to police, Sultan Shaikh and his friends were chatting in the timber market area and at that time accused Karan Aglave and companions came there. Karan asked Sultan why he beat up Rohit Aglave and then stabbed him with a Koyta. Alish Shaikh, Akbar’s friend who was with Sultan was attacked and after this incident there was panic in the area.

Police sub-inspector Vite is investigating the case.

In the last few days, there has been an increase in the incidents of terrorising the city in broad daylight. The Pune police have started taking strict action to quell the terror of the Koyta gang.
